Urban Culture
  • The Urban Culture Project website is an interactive Flash movie. It display news, events, and images. This project was developed under subcontract with <a href="http://www.bernstein-rein.com" target="_blank">Bernstein-Rein</a>.
  • The images are pulled into the Flash movie when needed, so they don't impact the load time of the main movie. Birnam Designs was responsible for all animation and development for this project, based on a provided design.
  • Nearly all of the content in the Flash movie can be managed through an administration interface, which was designed to match the look of the main website.
  • When the Flash movie requests the content, a script pulls it from the database and formats it into an XML format. Flash interprets the XML to determine the content.
