Hendrix Tour
  • The Hendrix Tour main interface shows a map of campus. The buildings can be selected individually or by category in the menu. The categorization is controlled through an external data file, making it easy to reassign buildings or group buildings into multiple categories. This project was developed under subcontract with <a href="http://www.3stories.com" target="_blank">3 Stories</a>.
  • Each category includes links to each building in that category, as well as a introductory image and caption.
  • Inside each building is an image gallery, set of captions, and a set of related links.
  • The interface can also open a regional map. This project utilizes Flash 8 for superior graphics and motion effects. Birnam Designs was responsible for all animation and development for this project, based on a provided design.
  • Nearly 100% of the content in this project is controlled from an external XML file. This reduced time during the initial development phase and will continue to make future edits much easier, as they will not require altering the original flash movie.
